Job summary

Trine University in Angola, Indiana is seeking an Enterprise Applications, Data and Analytics Manager to lead the enterprise applications portfolio, data quality initiatives, and analytics programs. You will guide the Applications Team, align IT services with university priorities, and collaborate on AI and automation deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related field, or equivalent.
• IT management or supervisory experience.
• Higher education IT experience preferred.
• At least 5 years of IT leadership managing employees, services, projects, budgets, vendors, or cross-functional initiatives.
• Working knowledge of enterprise applications, ERP and administrative systems, relational databases, SQL, reporting, analytics, data integrations, automation, AI, security, privacy, and governance.
• Experience supporting ERP, student information, finance, HR, reporting, or other enterprise systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and strategic direction for enterprise applications, data, and integrations.
• Lead and develop a team of analysts and professionals; set expectations and foster collaboration.
• Prioritize projects and support requests; manage budgets, vendors, and contracts.
• Partner with university leaders to simplify processes and improve data quality.
• Govern adoption of AI, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies.
• Oversee applications portfolio to ensure reliability, security, and alignment with needs.
• Coordinate release and change management for enterprise applications.
• Ensure data governance, privacy, and compliance with security teams.
• Maintain business continuity, backup procedures, and recovery plans.
• Advise CIO on strategy, resources, and technology risks.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional communication.
