Job summary

Iowa State University is seeking a Project Manager (Program Specialist IV) in Ames to translate Enrollment Management priorities into results. You will lead complex initiatives, connect people and technology, and improve enrollment processes that support our Cyclones in the Making.

This role builds stronger project practices and turns strategy into action across campus partners, technical teams, and vendors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience.
Preferred: experience in higher education enrollment management.

Responsibilities

Build stronger project practices by developing standards, tools and processes.
Turn strategy into action by leading projects from planning through implementation with defined scope, schedules and budgets.
Keep priorities moving by coordinating a portfolio of initiatives, anticipating risks and dependencies.
Connect people and technology by guiding cross‑functional teams through system implementations and operational improvements.
Make change successful by coordinating communication, testing, training and launch readiness, then measuring adoption and results.
Make progress clear by creating dashboards and reporting that highlight accomplishments, risks, and decisions.
