Job summary

GTI is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for complex engineering roles, partnering with engineering leadership to define requirements. The role emphasizes deep technical sourcing, patent/mining strategies, and executive-level offer negotiations.

Position is onsite at GTI Headquarters in Buffalo, NY (also Phoenix or Tempe options) and involves talent mapping, market insights, and building long-term engagement with niche engineering pools.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical recruiting focused on engineering and manufacturing.
• Experience recruiting mechanical, electrical, structural, automation, or advanced manufacturing engineers.
• Advanced sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and talent mapping.
• Sourcing through patents, publications, conferences, and engineering associations.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex multi-component compensation packages.
• Understanding of NPI environments, engineering design, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience recruiting in manufacturing, industrial automation, AEC, or energy sectors.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to influence senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for senior and specialized engineering roles.
• Partner with engineering directors to define role scope and requirements.
• Develop advanced sourcing strategies and competitive mapping.
• Build passive pipelines across manufacturing, energy, and related industries.
• Conduct high-level technical screening on design experience and systems exposure.
• Structure offers including base, bonus, relocation, and incentives.
• Provide market insights and velocity metrics to leadership.
• Lead negotiations and manage executive-level offers.
