Job summary

Belcan is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to support one of our energy industry clients in Durham, NC for a long-term engagement. You will lead cross-functional engineering programs, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality and customer stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading complex engineering or product development programs.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, deliverables, and project risks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and other project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex new product development and engineering programs from initiation through execution and delivery.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and resources across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, and customer stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource forecasts, and project reporting metrics.
• Monitor program performance and drive timely resolution of technical and project-related challenges.
• Manage project change requests, scope adjustments, and contractual requirements.
• Facilitate communication between Belcan leadership, project teams, vendors, and customers.
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Drive project execution while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
