Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Six years of professional civil engineering experience, including three years in management or supervisory role.
• Registered Professional Civil Engineer license in California.
• Valid California class C driver's license by time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Engineering Division and capital improvements program.
• Review development projects for compliance with city standards, ordinances, permits, regulations, and statutes.
• Lead with a value-driven, collaborative approach and respond to emergencies within one hour when needed.
• Support the city in protecting assets and delivering high-quality public services.
