Job summary

Syneos Health Consulting in New York is seeking a senior R&D advisory professional to optimize life science operations across research, clinical, regulatory and pharmacovigilance. You will engage with senior stakeholders to understand goals, craft proposals, and shape engagement strategies with clear commercial value.

The role requires a life sciences or business degree, extensive consulting experience in life sciences, and proven presentation and business development abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life science or business.
• Extensive experience in consulting management in life sciences, pharmaceutical/biotech consulting industry, or equivalent industry role.
• Experience working with one or more R&D operational roles either in industry or consulting.
• Engagement management experience.
• Strong presentation and business development skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior customer stakeholders to comprehend the customer's business goals, processes, operations and expectations.
• Develop customer proposals, demonstrating a clear understanding of the needs and objectives, approach and solution, plus the commercial construct to deliver projects.
• Develop engagement strategies and plans, and present findings and recommendations to team members.
• Conduct quality management oversight of project deliverables to ensure that content aligns to the customer's business objectives and expectations.
• Develop content to leverage in business development opportunities with prospective customers.
• Actively build a network of potential customers by utilizing social media, attending seminars and conferences, and through referrals.
