Qualifications

Bachelor's degree + 2 years work experience OR
Associates degree + 4 years work experience OR
HS/GED + 6 years work experience
Demonstrates advanced planning, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and analytics skills

Responsibilities

Provides procurement services such as pricing and quantity validation, RFQs, terms resolution, and PO/contract management.
Promotes sustainable cost savings and inventory reduction.
Guides business units on procurement processes and sourcing options.
Develops supplier relationships and ensures compliance with supplier agreements.
Demonstrates strong Business Unit and Supplier focus and improves supplier performance.
Ensures compliance with federal/state laws and Duke Energy standards.
Manages daily, monthly, and quarterly reports.
Supports safety culture and continuous improvement; provides after-hours duty support.
