Job summary

Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Supply Chain Purchaser to partner across Operations, Commercial, Projects, and Finance. You will drive procure-to-pay standards, manage Purchase Orders, and support cost reporting for the Power Distribution arm.

The role emphasizes process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and timely supplier communications to ensure project milestones and financial accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related analytical role.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in energy, power generation, or industrial sectors preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement background is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and AP to plan and process purchasing documents taking holistic ownership of procure to pay process.
• Maintain accurate tracking records and assist Accounts Payable with asset validation for invoicing cycles.
• Support Logistics in planning and scheduling transportation and logistics operations across project sites.
• Collaborate with Accounting to ensure costs are correctly captured and allocated to projects.
• Create, manage, and modify Purchase Orders to support procurement needs.
• Monitor PO status and delivery timelines to meet critical dates for active Power Projects.
• Play a central role in operations cost reporting.
• Track inventory levels to prevent supply disruptions.
• Produce regular and ad hoc reports for Supply Chain leadership.
• Communicate with suppliers and relay delays or changes to stakeholders.
