Job summary

RTX Communications seeks a Manager of Employee Engagement Communications to lead strategic, integrated internal communications for three Collins SBUs. You will develop messaging, write leadership communications, manage newsletters, and coordinate events with cross-functional teams to align with RTX and Collins priorities.

The role emphasizes strong writing, project management, and storytelling skills, with hybrid work arrangements and collaboration across centers of excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field; 8+ years experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years experience.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and social communication skills in internal comms.
• Attention to detail, urgency, strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated agility and adaptability to changes in direction.
• Strong writer with AP style familiarity.
• Experience in storytelling with positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic communications partner for the SBU Employee Engagement Communications Lead.
• Lead employee communications planning and execution for three Collins SBUs.
• Inform and engage employees on RTX-wide campaigns and Collins initiatives.
• Draft routine communications: town halls, leadership messages, newsletters.
• Manage newsletter strategy and content calendar for SBUs.
