Brown & Brown in Denver, CO is seeking an Employee Benefits Producer to join our growing team. This role focuses on sales and renewal of employee benefits with compensation including base salary and commission.

Reporting to an Office Leader, you will develop new business, present services at meetings, and close opportunities while traveling as needed. A Life and Health license is required, with 3–5 years of brokerage experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in insurance brokerage.
• Life and Health license or Producer license required.
• Ability to actively generate prospects and set appointments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and acquire new business revenue from new and existing clients.
• Present services at prospect meetings.
• Bring new business to closure.
• Collaborate with leadership to set and achieve sales goals; and with the service team to ensure the delivery of services.
• Prospect sectors or market areas by identifying business needs and proposing company products and services.
• Obtain prospects and actively pursue and create interest by telephone calls, writing letters, or making personal visits.
• Maintain currency and further develop expertise in declared sector or market area by networking and participating in professional development activities.
• Travel as needed and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
