Job summary

The ideal candidate will have experience with electronics components and metal fabrication, strong communication skills, and a technical degree or equivalent background. US citizenship or legal status is expected.

Qualifications

• Procurement experience for electronics components, mechanical parts, sheet metal, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Knowledge of supply chain procedures, metal fabrication methods, and QC procedures.
• Good oral and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs.
• Purchase materials and supplies.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts).
• Conduct market research to identify pricing trends.
• Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices.
• Prepare cost analyses.
• Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts.
• Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.
• Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all materials arrive in good condition.
