Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced lead for the USPACOM JEMSO cell, embedded with PACAF, to drive electromagnetic warfare planning and analysis across the Indo-Pacific. You will integrate AI tools to enhance data analysis and reporting for senior leaders.

The role requires TS clearance eligibility, strong policy and strategy experience, and collaboration with DoD components, labs, and industry partners in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years combined EW ops/capability development policy
• At least 3 years in a Combatant Command or equivalent HQ
• At least 3 years in the Indo-Pacific Area of Operations
• Familiarity with TCP, OPLANs, and campaign planning
• Experience writing reports, graphics and information papers
• Active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility; U.S. citizenship required for clearance
• Preferred: Master's Degree/Higher staff college
• Preferred: JEMSO/AF background; DoD coordination experience
• Preferred: Familiarity with JEMSO databases (FADE/MIST, CED)

Responsibilities

• Provide research, analysis, and planning support to USPACOM JEMSO cell
• Assist with senior-level strategic planning and briefings
• Prepare formal papers and background information for senior leaders
• Research and analyze national security policies, military strategies, and threat assessments
• Identify operational areas of concern and inform planning efforts
• Develop new EW concepts and capabilities
• Support integration of partner nation capabilities and coordinate with DoD and partners
• Integrate AI/LM tools to improve data analysis, reporting accuracy, and insights
• Work embedded at PACAF with primary responsibility for USPACOM JEMSO cell
