Job summary

Eaton is seeking an EHS Manager for its Omaha, Nebraska site. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on oversight of environmental, health, safety, and sustainability at the facility.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, quality, HR, and other teams to embed EHS into day-to-day work, drive risk reduction, and support site expansion initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years leading EHS programs in manufacturing, industrial, or similar operations.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles will be considered.
• Sponsorship/immigration support not offered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic advisor to site leadership and integrate EHS into business decisions.
• Lead compliance programs, risk assessments, audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Lead or support incident investigations and translate lessons learned into improvements.
• Embed EHS requirements into capital projects, process changes, and operational readiness.
