Job summary

SOSi is seeking an Effects Planner in Tampa, FL. This role coordinates operations planning, target development, and advocacy for subordinate commands, ensuring alignment with national directives. You will craft OPORD-like documents and brief leadership on plan details and effects.

The position requires Top Secret/SCI clearance (CI Poly preferred) and extensive experience in strategic planning, assessment, and cross-team facilitation. Contingent on contract award.

Qualifications

• Active in scope TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• Master’s degree in Public Policy, Government, International Affairs/Relations, or closely related discipline.
• War College graduate or equivalent senior-level experience in planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional planning teams to synchronize effects into a cohesive operational plan.
• Facilitate working groups to deconflict resources, timing, and objectives between subordinate commands and staff sections.
• Conduct analysis to identify key vulnerabilities and nodes within a target system.
• Develop Measures of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs).
• Lead target development process supporting the campaign plan.
• Analyze ongoing operations and provide assessments to leadership.
• Ensure plans align with national strategic guidance and directives.
• Draft and staff major planning documents (CONPLANs, OPORDs).
• Provide senior briefings on proposed or current plans and effects.
