Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage P.K. Yonge digital and print communications; create and implement an editorial calendar; publicize information about faculty research and outreach events; prepare annual official publications; ensure brand-consistent printed materials; draft submissions for annual reports; liaison with College of Education News and Communications and Development Office; draft bid specifications and manage printing contracts; provide editing and production guidance for publications; manage alumni communications; handle crisis communications for school when needed.
• Lead and manage P.K. Yonge Information Services; design and maintain the school website; provide information and timely reports to the school community and public; distribute regular school emails; provide EduGator newsletter submissions; act as press liaison with UF communications and Emergency Management; manage social media plan; manage internal and external communications plan; draft communications for school leaders; assist with newsletters; collaborate with admissions to engage prospective students and families.
• Assist with capitalization campaigns communications; oversee production of campaign materials; engage private support for capital campaign; plan/ direct programs to enhance public participation in private support.
