Job summary

AECOM Advisory in Washington, DC is seeking an Economics and Strategy Advisory Consultant for its US East Region. This full-time role blends microeconomic analysis with strategic advisory for infrastructure and policy projects.

You will develop quantitative analyses, build cash-flow models, and craft executive materials to guide investment and policy decisions in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, Finance or related field plus 4 years of econ/consulting experience.
• Master’s degree and/or PhD is a plus and demonstrates advanced quantitative skills.
• Experience in microeconomic modeling, econometrics, and public-sector analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead quantitative and qualitative analyses to develop strategies addressing policy, infrastructure, and social challenges.
• Build and review discounted cash flow models (DCF) for investments and programs.
• Create executive-ready decks and narratives for client buy-in.
• Supervise junior team members and ensure quality control of deliverables.
• Engage with C-suite and senior stakeholders to inform decision-making.
