AECOM Advisory in Washington, DC seeks an Economics and Strategy Advisory Consultant to join the US East Region. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on economic analysis, policy and infrastructure investments, delivering data-driven insights and executive-ready materials for clients.

You will lead microeconomic analyses, build discounted cash flow models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape strategic recommendations across transportation, energy, and real estate projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Public Policy, Finance or a quantitatively related field.
4 years of professional economist and/or quantitatively inclined management consulting experience, or equivalent, with at least 2 years in management consulting.

Responsibilities

Serve as principal technical investigator on complex business cases using economic analysis methods.
Build discounted cash flow models (revenue, EBITDA, NPV, IRR, CAGR) for client policies and programs.
Leverage data visualization and analytics tools to derive insights for client recommendations.
Conduct stakeholder interviews with C-suite and senior management stakeholders.
Supervise and quality-control analytical tasks for junior team members.
Create executive-ready decks and build client buy-in with data-driven insights.
