Job summary

SAIC is seeking an Economic Security Analyst to support the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering. The role focuses on due diligence, technology protection, and risk assessment in mergers, exports, and foreign investment; the work is on site in Alexandria, VA.

You will analyze supply chains, analyze networks of individuals and entities, and develop mitigation strategies for DoW technology programs, often under tight deadlines and evolving requirements.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience; higher degrees adjust.
• Strong leadership and communication with executives.
• Expertise in export control policies.
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Identify business relationships to analyze contracts, licensing, and board memberships.
• Analyze supply chains for threats, vulnerabilities, and exploitation.
• Perform social and business network analysis of entities and tech trends.
• Formulate risk mitigation strategies addressing stakeholder interests.
• Produce analytical assessments for DoW programs, sometimes on short notice.
• Refine SOPs, guides, and templates for due diligence analyses.
