Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking an experienced Economic Development Manager to grow electric revenues and enhance the company's brand in the Carolinas. You will manage regional leads and projects, coordinate with state and local ED agencies, and drive site development and market analysis to attract business growth.

The role requires strong communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to work with diverse partners. Travel and relocation support are available as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business or adjacent field required.
• Eight years minimum related experience for Senior position; Associates plus eleven years for alternative path.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage economic development leads and projects across the region, building strong relationships with state, regional and local ED groups.
• Drive strategies to attract industrial and commercial investment to the Duke Energy footprint; support site development and market analysis.
• Represent Duke Energy professionally across internal and external networks; provide data and marketing materials as needed.
