Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company seeks an Economic Development Specialist, Expert to act as a strategic advisor and relationship manager for business attraction, retention, expansion, and infrastructure initiatives across PG&E's service territory.

The role requires market intelligence, customer consultation, and project management support to accelerate new business growth, working with internal teams and external partners to move opportunities from inquiry to implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Eight (8) years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• CEcD designation or related professional certification.
• Experience with economic development organizations, local governments, chambers of commerce, and regional development groups.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, government agencies, site selectors, developers, and industry partners.
• Identify and cultivate opportunities to attract, retain, and expand businesses within PG&E's service territory.
• Represent PG&E at economic development events, industry conferences, and regional forums.
• Promote PG&E programs, services, infrastructure capabilities, and economic development resources to customers.
