Job summary

EHS Support is seeking a Senior/Principal Due Diligence Growth Lead to scale our environmental due diligence practice for private equity and corporate buyers. The role demands a strategic leader who can manage high-volume ESA work and deliver technically rigorous narratives that support deal decisions.

You will mentor staff, standardize workflows for scale, and collaborate across Service Lines to integrate EH&S offerings with M&A advisory.

Qualifications

• 15-20+ years of total experience in environmental due diligence and M&A contexts.
• Proven leadership as a principal/practice lead or director at a national or strong regional firm.
• Ability to travel for site visits and client development (up to 30-50%).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong deal storytelling.
• Mentor and develop junior staff; standardize workflows for scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead the expansion and growth of the environmental due diligence practice, focusing on private equity, corporate buyers, and M&A advisors.
• Drive high-volume Phase I/II ESA work aligned with transaction timelines while maintaining technical rigor.
• Position due diligence as part of an integrated EH&S offering; grow advisory services beyond Phase I/II.
• Develop and execute growth strategies; serve as a senior client-facing leader.
• Oversee project delivery from scoping to post-close transition; ensure quality and defensibility.
• Provide senior technical review and shape reports to tell the deal story with business impact.
• Mentor teams, standardize workflows, and collaborate across Service Lines.
