Job summary

The Nature Conservancy seeks a Donor Communications Manager for the Florida Business Unit to lead a comprehensive donor communications strategy that supports major gift fundraising. You will craft impactful content, manage staff, and collaborate with philanthropy, finance, and conservation teams to drive Florida conservation initiatives and a global conservation vision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience managing and implementing multiple projects.
• Experience negotiating agreements.
• Experience supervising staff, interns, and/or volunteers.
• Experience with current and evolving technology in relevant field.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience, coursework, or other training in principles and practices of relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee a comprehensive communications strategy for Florida philanthropy initiatives.
• Coordinate with philanthropy, finance, executive, and conservation staff to align donor communications with goals.
• Translate conservation science into compelling donor materials and case statements.
• Manage content creation for campaigns, reports, and stewardship communications.
• Oversee production with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring budget and quality controls.
• Set team goals and metrics; provide staff development and training.
