Job summary

Paligen Technologies, through its McCormick Stevenson subsidiary, is seeking an onsite Program Manager in Clearwater, FL to lead day-to-day contract support operations across multiple projects, build client relationships, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

The role requires DoD/national security experience, strong leadership, budgeting, and proposal development, with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance; contribute to strategic program initiatives and risk management.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or related field with a minimum of 5 yrs relevant experience.
• Experience managing large and complex programs or projects.
• Minimum of 3 years Program Management experience in a DoD and national security environment.
• Experience developing successful proposals in the DoD and national security industries.
• Demonstrated experience leading proposal development tasks.
• Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cost accounting and US Government FARs.
• Fundamental knowledge of project and program management methodologies.
• Ability to obtain a Secret DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients, internal teams and vendors to plan scope, deliverables, resources, budgets, and timing for project tasks.
• Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement.
• Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are achieved.
• Manage the development and delivery of the response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including developing cost, manpower estimates and coordinating technical inputs.
• Develop and manage the budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
• Work with other program/project managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the organization.
• Build the McCormick Stevenson brand through customer focus, performance, and successful completion of programs on schedule and within budget.
• Analyze, evaluate and overcome program risks, produce program reports for management and stakeholders.
• Monitor program performance including related tasks, activities and deliverables.
