Job summary

Tharros is seeking a Business Analyst to translate requirements into functional briefs and documentation for USAF and Joint exercise support. You will gather and validate business and technical requirements to establish scope, impact, and metrics, and you will maintain procedures and user documentation while training users.

Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, producing clear functional specs, developing process models, and tracking requirements through the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field; required.
• 2–4 years of related experience; DoD experience preferred; must have 5 years writing DoD docs.
• Strong data analysis capabilities and ability to translate requirements.
• Excellent MS Word and PowerPoint skills; ability to produce clear docs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and verify requirements for completeness and feasibility to prepare briefings and documents.
• Translate user requirements into functional specifications for stakeholders and developers.
• Create system and business process models, diagrams, and charts to guide the project team.
• Manage requirements throughout the lifecycle; communicate changes to managers and sponsors.
• Maintain and update user documentation; provide help desk support and training.
• Brief senior level/flag-level personnel when required; support DoD exercises.
