Eaton is seeking a Division Sales and Applications Engineer for a hybrid role based in Fayetteville, NC or Raleigh, NC. The position supports the sales force on Power Factor Correction and Power Conditioning projects with technical and commercial guidance.

The role requires a engineering degree and 2+ years in the electrical industry, plus strong communication skills to interact with customers, Field Sales and engineering teams in person or virtually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years in the electrical industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support sales force on Power Factor Correction and Power Conditioning project negotiations.
• Interpret project plans and specifications, apply products, configure solutions, provide technical support and pricing.
• Review customer needs to determine BOM, best price level and shipment cycle for each negotiation.
• Interpret quotations for desirability, content, and list price; suggest BOM modifications to meet specs and improve competitiveness.
• Facilitate order entry with EatonCare and Front-End, and perform price reconciliation as needed.
• Develop monthly forecasts, track negotiations and report market trends in a timely manner.
