National Fuel Gas Company in Dayton, Ohio is seeking an Engineer to join our Engineering Services team. The role supports integration of Ohio assets during acquisition, starting remotely and moving to on-site Dayton work after close.

Responsibilities include design of natural gas piping systems, hydraulic modeling, material specs, bid packages, and project cost estimation, with emphasis on safety and reliability during construction and operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and technical aptitude.
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and design natural gas piping systems and related facilities.
• Provide technical engineering support to Field Operations and cross-functional teams.
• Provide material and equipment specifications for natural gas facility improvement projects.
• Prepare bid packages, develop project cost estimates, and support construction and execution.
• Investigate, analyze, document, and resolve system reliability and performance issues.
• Support distribution system modernization and infrastructure replacement projects.
