• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration, implementation, supervision and evaluation of the US Department of Education–funded Veterans Upward Bound grant at Redlands Community College.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations, grant requirements, state directives and college policies.
• Supervise and evaluate program personnel.
• Develop and manage the annual budget.
• Authorize and monitor expenditures.
• Maintain participant records and databases.
• Collect and analyze program data.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports including the Annual Performance Report.
• Oversee academic and support services, participant progress, staff development and performance evaluations, program policies, short- and long-range goals, outreach, marketing and recruitment activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and represent Veterans Upward Bound to internal and external constituencies.
