Job summary

Northwood Technical College in Wisconsin seeks a Director of Training & Development to lead collegewide learning and development, faculty credentialing, onboarding, and continuous improvement across four campus locations. You will align programs with institutional priorities, provide coaching to supervisors, and partner with Talent & Culture on talent strategies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Education, Instructional Design, Leadership, Business Administration or related field.
• Three years of related work experience and one year supervisory/leadership experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating professional development programs.
• Experience administering or utilizing learning management systems and learning technologies.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, coaching, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a collegewide learning and development strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead, mentor, and manage assigned staff with strategic direction and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with Faculty Quality Assurance System (FQAS) and WTCS requirements.
• Coordinate professional development programs, onboarding, credential attainment, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee LMS administration and leverage technology to enhance learning outcomes.
• Monitor budgets, grants, and program administration; report outcomes and impact.
