Job summary

City of Lubbock seeks a licensed Professional Engineer to serve as Director of Traffic Management, overseeing traffic engineering, operations, and fiber infrastructure systems.

The ideal candidate will lead budgeting, capital planning, policy development, and supervise multidisciplinary technical teams, reporting to the Division Director of Public Works.

Texas PE license or ability to obtain within one year is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 8–10 years of progressively responsible experience in traffic management and operations, including supervisory experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas (or ability to obtain within one year).
