Job summary

Genetix Biotherapeutics is seeking a Director of Scientific Communications & Evidence Generation to lead publication planning and evidence generation across hematology/cell/gene therapy programs. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Development, Regulatory, HEOR, and Commercial teams to address evidence gaps and ensure data is communicated clearly to diverse audiences.

The role is full-time with a hybrid setup based in Somerville, MA (Assembly Row).

Qualifications

Requires strong scientific writing and editorial judgment.
Experience leading publication planning and medical education programs.
Fluency with compliance frameworks (GPP, ICMJE, ACCME, OIG, PhRMA Code).
Excellent stakeholder management and ability to engage with investigators and advocacy leaders.

Responsibilities

Develop an 18-month publication plan and oversee publication review for abstracts, posters, manuscripts and reviews.
Collaborate with internal/external experts to ensure scientific accuracy of data presented.
Establish content measurement frameworks for reach and knowledge lift.
Lead or co-lead medical reviews for materials and ensure SOP compliance.
Manage department budget and drive continuous improvement in medical affairs activities.
