Job summary

The University of Miami seeks an Executive Director to lead physician and faculty compensation strategy across its academic medical enterprise. You will design, implement and govern FMV-based models, ensuring compliance with Stark Law and AKS while aligning with patient care, research and education goals.

Responsibilities include analytics, contract administration, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration with Compliance, Finance and HR to drive market-aligned, transparent compensation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in compensation leadership or strategy.
• Demonstrated knowledge of FMV and compliance with Stark Law and AKS.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and evaluation of physician and faculty compensation models.
• Partner with leadership to align compensation with strategy and market practices.
• Ensure FMV analyses, compliance, and internal controls for compensation programs.
• Develop analytics on productivity, wRVUs, and performance trends by specialty.
• Oversee contracts, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for compensation.
• Provide education and governance across departments on compensation programs.
