Job summary

Motive is seeking a Director of Financial Communications to own the company’s financial narrative and messaging across corporate, investor, and internal channels.

You will lead high-impact communications with executives, investors, and media, drafting press releases, shareholder messaging, and internal briefing materials while coordinating with Finance, IR, Legal, Marketing, and international teams.

Qualifications

• Experience turning complex financial strategy into clear messaging for internal and external audiences.
• Familiarity with M&A communications and corporate transaction-related work.
• Strong crisis communications and issues management experience.
• Track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners and agency teams.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model alongside key executives in SF or remotely in the USA with travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate and executive communications and shape Motive’s financial narrative across channels.
• Draft and own press releases, media statements, investor messaging, and executive quotes.
• Coordinate messaging across Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, Marketing, and international teams.
• Manage day-to-day coordination with PR agencies and external partners.
• Develop and execute crisis and reputation management plans and playbooks.
