Job summary

West Chicago Elementary School District 33 is seeking a Director of Business and Operations to provide vision and leadership for the district’s business affairs, ensuring the best educational services within available resources. The role drives financial stewardship, operations, and strategic alignment with district goals.

The position requires strong management, accounting knowledge, and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent; four to ten years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, including service in a supervisory capacity over support personnel.
• Broad knowledge and experience in education, management and/or accounting.
• Interpersonal skills for effective interaction with a variety of stakeholders, excellent organization and time-management, effective verbal and written language skills, and the ability to use sound judgment in decision-making.
• Knowledge of and ability to use database software; financial systems; and internet, inventory, project management, spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Commitment to 5 years in this position.
