Job summary

Aspire Allergy & Sinus in Austin, TX is looking for a Director of Credentialing to lead provider credentialing, payer enrollment, and professional liability administration across a multi-state specialty healthcare network. This role drives governance, processes, and technology to support patient access and organizational revenue.

You will partner with Revenue Cycle, Legal, HR, IT, and clinical leadership to ensure accurate records, verified payer dates, and audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, management, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive credentialing and payer enrollment experience.
• Experience with CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, NPDB processes and payer portals.
• Experience leading multi-site credentialing teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to establish service levels, dashboards, and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise credentialing strategy, operating model, policies, and staffing plan.
• Define responsibilities and escalation paths across leadership levels.
• Oversee initial/recredentialing, primary-source verification, licensure, education, and board certification.
• Direct enrollment with Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and commercial payers.
• Oversee group/individual enrollment, roster submission, and data maintenance.
• Ensure accurate provider records, system configuration, and coverage documentation.
• Lead credentialing readiness for acquisitions, new markets, and expansions.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing credentialing team.
• Govern CAQH, NPPES, PECOS, and payer portal governance and audits.
• Provide executive reporting on credentialing performance and risk.
