Job summary

Aspire Allergy & Sinus is seeking a full-time Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist (Level 3) to serve as a subject matter expert, resolving complex, high-dollar reimbursement issues. This role evaluates payer accounts, handles rejections, denials, appeals, and follow-up to reach final resolution in a timely manner and in line with industry benchmarks.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8 am–5 pm; Friday 8 am-12 pm. Onsite at HQ: 5929 Balcones Dr #200, Austin, TX 78731.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years in medical billing, collections or AR in healthcare.
• Proven ability to resolve high-dollar, complex denials independently.
• Advanced proficiency with EHR systems, clearinghouses and billing software.

Responsibilities

• Resolve highly complex, high-dollar reimbursement issues.
• Perform root cause analysis on denial trends and payer behavior.
• Lead escalation for Level 1 and Level 2 AR Specialists on complex cases.
• Develop advanced appeal strategies and resolution pathways.
• Interpret payer policies, coding rules and reimbursement logic.
• Review and approve write-offs up to $1,000; escalate higher amounts.
• Support enterprise-wide revenue cycle process improvements.
