Job summary

Veolia Water Tech is seeking a Director of Indirect Procurement for North America to lead a team of Category Managers overseeing +$350M in spend across MRO, Facilities, Maintenance, CAPEX and more.

Reporting to the VP of Global Indirect Procurement, this role shapes regional strategies, drives cost-out initiatives and partners with senior leadership to optimize supplier performance and value for the Water Tech business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field.
• 10 years in procurement, strategic sourcing or supply chain.
• 5 years indirect procurement for manufacturing operations (MRO, facilities, CAPEX).
• 5 years leading procurement teams.
• Annual spend above 150M USD.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages the Category Management Team for Capex, Facilities, Services, Maintenance and Operations.
• Leads Indirect Procurement for North America and partners with senior management.
• Hire, develop and monitor performance of direct reports.
• Develop strategic sourcing mindset and category strategies for top spend areas.
• Drive spend management, budgeting alignment and supplier optimization.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for NAM in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Perform data analysis to identify opportunities and manage vendor selection.
• Negotiate contracts to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Implement supplier relationship management with business reviews and KPIs.
• Lead regional sourcing projects with cross-functional teams.
