Job summary
Texas Woman’s University seeks a Program Director for Health Care Administration to lead the MHA program across Houston and Dallas. The role requires strategic, operational, and academic leadership, with focus on accreditation, curriculum, and partnerships to strengthen student outcomes.
The Director will teach graduate courses, mentor faculty, and drive initiatives in clinical partnerships, fundraising, and program growth.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in health care administration, public health, business, or a related field.
- Record of teaching, research, and service at tenure-track level.
- Experience with CAHME accreditation and competency-based curriculum.
- Significant leadership experience in academic administration.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive leadership for the HCA program across all campuses.
- Lead strategic planning to advance reputation, outcomes, and partnerships.
- Oversee CAHME accreditation processes and reaccreditation efforts.
- Supervise faculty and coordinate schedules, workload, and budgets.
- Engage externally with healthcare systems, alumni, and funders.
- Teach graduate courses and support instructional technology and student success.
