Job summary

River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our maintenance team at 175 Emery Highway, Macon, GA. The role focuses on facility repairs, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance to support patient care and a secure facility environment.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, basic computer skills, a valid Georgia driver’s license, and HVAC/EPA certification preferred. Background clearance and drug testing are required, with multiple benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or some technical training experience.
• Basic office computer skills, word processing, email, and spreadsheets.
• Valid Georgia Driver’s license; pass background clearance and pre-employment drug test.
• HVAC/EPA Certified (PREFEREED) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair or general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment at various sites including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, glazier, and painting tasks.
• Performs minor repairs, troubleshooting, and adjustment of locks on cabinets, locks, closets, desks.
• Repairs door hinges, cleans plugged key slots, changes filters on ventilating, heating, and air conditioning units.
• Services kitchen, appliances, and emergency equipment, reporting mechanical malfunctions to party for action.
• Activates and deactivates building alarms and responds to alarm calls after and during regular work hours.
