Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Director of Direct Procurement & Category Management to lead enterprise‑wide sourcing and category strategies. You will align procurement with manufacturing, product supply, and business growth, while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

You will partner across functions to secure supply resilience, drive cost optimization, and deliver measurable value with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years progressive procurement, sourcing, category management, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term direct procurement and category strategies that support manufacturing and product supply.
• Lead supplier governance, risk management, and executive negotiations with strategic partners.
• Drive value creation through cost optimization, supplier innovation, and total‑cost analyses.
• Partner with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Operations to ensure supplier compliance and supply continuity.
