Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Director of Direct Procurement & Category Management to lead enterprise-wide sourcing for direct materials, components, and contract manufacturing. You will shape category strategies and drive supply continuity across healthcare products.

The role partners with Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Product Management, and Finance to ensure reliable supply and cost-effective outcomes. Exceptional leadership and negotiation skills are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
MBA/Master's preferred in a relevant area.
Experience in direct materials procurement and healthcare supply chains.
Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.
Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide procurement programs.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute long-term direct procurement and category strategies.
Align procurement with operational, quality, regulatory, and financial objectives.
Lead strategic planning for raw materials, components, packaging, and contract manufacturing.
Establish sourcing strategies that ensure supply security and cost competitiveness.
Oversee supplier governance, performance reviews, and risk management.
Drive cost optimization, value creation, and supplier innovation.
Lead and develop category managers and procurement professionals.
