Job summary

Trane Technologies, a world leader in sustainable climate solutions, is seeking a Director of Design Project Management to lead the Design Project Management organization and ensure Stellar Energy projects are executed from award to engineering completion.

You will mentor a team of Design Project Managers, drive project controls, and partner with Engineering Operations, Chief Engineers, and executive leadership to deliver on-time, on-budget results and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive engineering, project engineering, PM, or leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing Design Project Managers, Project Engineers, or related professionals.
• Experience leading large multidisciplinary engineering project portfolios in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage a team of Design Project Managers.
• Own engineering project execution performance across the project portfolio.
• Establish and maintain project execution standards, processes, and tools.
• Drive accountability for planning, scheduling, resource forecasting, and execution.
