Job summary

Dally Queen is seeking a Director of Corporate Communications at its Bloomington, MN headquarters. The role leads enterprise-wide communications strategy, including media relations, employee and franchisee communications, fan relations, and crisis management.

The position requires 8–10 years in corporate communications with leadership experience, a relevant degree, and strong writing and strategic thinking skills. Hybrid work is typical for US locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, English, or related field.
• Minimum of 8–10 years in corporate communications, association, or agency roles.
• Management experience required.
• Experience providing strategic communications counsel to senior management is preferred.
• Experience in franchisee-based organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Public Relations and external communications for the company, acting as main contact for media inquiries.
• Oversee employee communications and ensure clear, timely internal messaging aligned with priorities.
• Oversee franchisee communications to strengthen partnerships and profitability.
• Manage Fan Relations and customer feedback communication across channels.
• Lead crisis-management communications and act as corporate spokesperson when needed.
• Directly manage Communications Managers and Senior Manager – Fan Relations, coaching and developing staff.
