Carolina PRG is partnering with a large, publicly traded organization headquartered in Charlotte to identify a Director of Cash & Revenue Accounting. This is a highly visible leadership role within the corporate accounting organization.

The candidate should be a hands-on leader who can oversee key areas of accounting, strengthen processes and controls, improve the close and reporting environment, and lead a team through growth and transformation.

Formación

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Public company accounting experience required.
• Strong leadership with strategic and hands-on style.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a corporate accounting team.
• Oversee accounting activities across revenue, cash, accruals, reserves, and related balance sheet accounts.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and close deliverables.
• Strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, documentation, and review procedures.
• Lead efforts to address control deficiencies and build sustainable processes.
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Treasury, Tax, Audit, and other areas of the organization.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Improve timeliness, accuracy, and efficiency of close and financial reporting processes.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve accounting processes.
• Support continued improvements across the broader accounting function.
