Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a skilled vendor and contracts professional to drive efficient vendor intake, SOW reviews, and governance across diverse IT and procurement projects.

You will analyze supplier networks, manage renewals, and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure compliance, value, and timely delivery. This onsite role involves heavy collaboration and rigorous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience managing vendor intake and project flow with clear ownership and escalation.
• Ability to review contracts, NDAs, MSAs for compliance and scope.
• Familiarity with governance, reporting, and risk management in vendor programs.
• Strong negotiation mindset focused on win-win outcomes and stakeholder alignment.
• Ability to select and prioritize products and vendors based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Purchasing, Legal, Finance and vendors to resolve contract and SOW issues.
• Analyze vendor networks, capacity, spend, and renewal timelines to meet objectives.
• Manage vendor engagement reviews, approvals, and governance reporting.
• Lead project cost/time estimation and contingency planning, with regular reviews.
