Job summary

Dallas County seeks an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead strategic planning and delivery of complex digital products that support county goals. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle, collaborate with developers, analysts, UX designers, architects, and stakeholders, and mentor product teams.

You will drive roadmaps, define epics and user stories, manage backlogs, coordinate releases, and ensure security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Business Admin, HCD, or related field.
• Five years of product management, business analysis, or IT project leadership.
• Certifications (Preferred): CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, UX, and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle and drive complex digital initiatives.
• Define epics, user stories with acceptance criteria, and maintain roadmaps.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver value.
• Mentor junior product staff and promote agile practices.
