Job summary

Dallas County seeks an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead strategic planning and delivery of complex digital products. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle and partner with developers, analysts, UX designers, and stakeholders to ensure value, usability, and alignment with County goals.

The role includes mentoring product teams, driving roadmaps, and championing user-centered design across initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Human-Centered Design, or related field.
Five (5) years of work-related experience in product management, business analysis, or IT project leadership.
CSPO/SAFe PO/PM or equivalent certifications preferred.
Experience with Agile delivery and user-centered design.
Ability to manage complex, cross-functional product initiatives.

Responsibilities

Drives execution of high-impact product initiatives from backlog to release.
Owns product backlog prioritization aligning with business objectives and user outcomes.
Defines epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria using data and user insights.
Leads sprint planning, refinement, demos, and retrospectives for multiple teams.
Coordinates releases across environments including testing and stakeholder validation.
Monitors product KPIs to measure performance and identify improvements.
Maintains product roadmaps and translates business goals into features.
Partners with architecture and engineering to evaluate feasibility and scalability.
Facilitates workshops and sessions with users and stakeholders.
Ensures alignment between tactical delivery and platform evolution.
