Job summary

Market My Market is seeking a Digital PR Contractor to own end-to-end media outreach for a portfolio of legal, medical, and dental clients from anywhere in the United States. You’ll build targeted lists, craft pitches, and land coverage while coordinating with our Director of PR and the digital PR team.

This hands-on role emphasizes ownership of relationships, proactive storytelling, and fast follow-up in a high-volume, remote environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in PR or digital PR, with hands-on outreach experience.
• Proven placements with explanation of angle and success.
• You generate the angles, not just execute them, with three ideas per client.
• Strong, fast writing; explain topics clearly in three sentences.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and client portfolios concurrently.
• Comfortable with volume and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with the discipline to work remotely.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Campaign execution from brief through outreach and results.
• Build and maintain media relationships with reporters and editors; lead outreach and follow-ups.
• Pitch writing tailored to outlets and the moment across proactive campaigns and reactive opportunities.
• Reactive media: monitor news and pitch reporters with timely angles.
• Source requests: respond daily on platforms like Qwoted and JournoFinder.
• Thought leadership and expert positioning; brief content team on framing.
• Data-led campaigns: source datasets, shape angles, and write numbers-based stories.
• Media list building and targeting using Muck Rack and JournoFinder.
• Reporting: track coverage, links, and outreach performance.
• Competitive intelligence: monitor coverage and authority gaps to differentiate clients.
• Collaboration with content, Client Experience, and PR leadership.
