Job summary

AIA Seattle, a leading architectural association, seeks a Development Manager to lead development activities for the organization and Seattle Design Festival partnership.

You will cultivate sponsors, donors, and members; oversee fundraising campaigns, donor relations, and development budgets; and lead committees to advance revenue and membership growth. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on program administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent life experience.
• Experience in fundraising, partnership, business development, membership, or related work.

Responsibilities

• Lead sponsorship programs and campaigns.
• Coordinate annual fundraising and giving campaigns.
• Develop and manage membership recruitment and renewal.
• Develop relationships with sponsors, members and donors.
• Oversee development committee and budget planning.
• Collaborate with communications and programs teams on messaging.
