Job summary

Atmos Energy is looking for a results‑driven professional to lead business development and marketing in the Bryan, TX area. You will evaluate new residential and commercial opportunities, review development plats, and coordinate with operations on design and costs.

Manage relationships with developers and stakeholders to grow market share while advocating natural gas usage. Responsibilities include feasibility studies, contract negotiations, and liaison work during construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field and four years related experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders and advocate for gas usage.
• Ability to perform financial analyses, ratios and percentages.
• Working knowledge of documents, spreadsheets, reports and graphics.

Responsibilities

• Leads process to connect and serve large development opportunities, reviewing plats and estimating costs.
• Prepares feasibility studies and develops proposal terms for growth opportunities.
• Negotiates and secures contracts with large developers and maintains liaison during construction.
• Builds relationships with channel partners and promotes natural gas programs to influence buying decisions.
• Tracks development activity and presents market plans to management for growth.
