Texas Woman's University seeks a Senior Director of Development for the Merrilee A. Kick College of Business and Entrepreneurship and Planned Giving to lead fundraising strategies and donor engagement.

The role focuses on securing gifts of $25,000+ and managing the college's planned giving program, reporting to the Vice President for University Advancement. The Senior Director will build long-term donor relationships, collaborate with college leadership, and drive planned giving initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree preferred.
Five years of progressive fundraising experience in higher education or comparable nonprofit setting.
Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

Cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of annual, major and planned gift prospects.
Conduct in-person and virtual donor visits to qualify prospects and close gifts.
Manage a defined prospect portfolio with tailored cultivation strategies.
Collaborate with college leadership and advancement colleagues to identify funding priorities.
Contribute to annual giving initiatives, donor stewardship, and alumni engagement.
Prepare gift proposals, stewardship reports, and donor communications.
Participate in college and university advancement events, donor cultivation, and recognition.
